Oil & Gas 20

Students will learn about energy exploration, production and environmental stewardship practices, as well as industry trends, safety, economic impacts and technological advancements. Students will have the opportunity to explore the many career paths available in the energy sector.

Sask DLC coordinates the 50-hour work placement in the oil and gas sector. This course is offered in Semester 2 only.

What Will I Learn?

The course consists of two parts:

  • 50 hours of online theory

  • 50 hours of work placement coordinated by Sask DLC

The 50- hour work placement is a compulsory part of this and Sask DLC will work with each student requesting the course to find a suitable work placement location. Please note that not all requests may be able to be accommodated.
