In AET20, students learn about safety, tools and machinery, and what it’s like to be part of this in-demand career. This course is only offered in Semester 1.
Sask DLC coordinates the work placement at a local ag equipment dealership.

What Will I Learn?

This course consists of:

  • 50 hours of online theory to be completed from September to mid-November

  • 50 hours of work placement which consists of:

    • 40 to 50 hours of a work placement at a local ag equipment dealership to be completed from mid-November to the end of the semester. Sask DLC will coordinate the work placement.

    • optional AET Boot Camp at Saskatchewan Polytechnic (typically held in December).

    • If you choose not to attend Boot Camp, you simply complete all 50 hours at the work placement.

Given the seasonal nature of the ag industry, this course is only offered in Semester 1.
