2025 Summer School Course Catalogue

How long is Summer School?

Summer School starts Wednesday, July 2 and ends Friday, August 8.

Students have approximately six weeks to complete their 100-hour course work and write their final exam.

How does it work?

Students can expect to spend approximately 3-4 hours per weekday to complete the high school course, plus any time needed to complete homework.

All Summer School courses are asynchronous (online).

What does it cost?

Summer School is available to all Saskatchewan students at a cost of $500 per course.

Students are charged directly for Summer School courses. Payment must be received prior to starting the course.

What support will be provided?

All students will have regular contact with their Sask DLC teacher through Teams, phone calls and email.

How many courses can I take?

It is recommended that students limit their Summer School courses to one at a time, due to the time commitment required to complete the 100-hour courses within the shortened Summer School period.

Students who demonstrate the ability to successfully complete a course, may be eligible to add a second course before July 23, following a discussion with Sask DLC’s Summer School Principal. Please consult with your Summer School teacher or contact [email protected] for more information about this option.

All Summer School courses, including any final exams, must be completed by August 8.

What is the refund policy?

If you drop a Summer School course within four school days of your start date, you will receive a full course fee refund. No refund is provided for courses dropped after this date.

For students who begin courses on July 2, the drop deadline for a full course refund is July 8.

What payment options are available?

Students are able to pay the $500 course fee, either by e-transfer or through credit card. Note there is a $20, non-refundable administrative charge per course for credit card transactions.
