Recommend completing Construction and Carpentry 10 and student must be 16-years-old to enroll in the work placement.

What Will I Learn?

This course consists of:

  • 50 hours of online theory

  • 50 hours of a work placement coordinated by Sask DLC

If you are under the age of 16, you are not able to work on a construction site, as per the province’s legislation on minimum age and workplace restrictions. All students, parents and mentors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with our work placement information.
