Enjoy the comfort of learning from your own home while still receiving high quality, accredited education from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The flexibility of the DLC's schedule allows students to learn at their own pace and on their own time, making it an ideal choice for students who have other commitments or for those who prefer a more self-directed approach to learning.
The Sask DLC provides fully funded K-12 education, in line with Ministry of Saskatchewan guidelines
Supporting your learning across the province
Built by DLC teachers
We believe that every student deserves individual attention and support. Whether you need help with a particular concept or managing your workload, our teachers are here to guide you every step of the way. Our teachers are available during school hours by phone, email or video conference so you can get in touch with them when you need help or have questions about your coursework. In addition to your teacher, academic advisors can help high school students explore career options and offer tools to help understand your strengths when thinking about your future. They will offer advice and guidance on your course choices and make sure you have the credits you need to graduate.
As a parent you are an important part of your child’s education. Although each Sask DLC course is led by a certified teacher who provides regular online instruction, elementary-aged students need additional guidance and support from their parents. Parents can help by:
assist with timely submission of assignments
schedule schoolwork time to meet course timelines
keep in contact with teachers and school administrators by phone, email or parent teacher contact nights
Our courses cover ministry outcomes for each grade. The time your child will need varies with each individual and often depends on student maturity, ability to focus, degree of independence and goals.
We will send you the resources you need for the school year, including DLC teacher-created courses with the books and materials you’ll need to ensure your success.
Our teachers and support staff are committed to helping you learn in the way that works best for you.
