You will develop your skills and abilities in audio, video and interactive media production to communicate effectively. You will build upon your media literacy skills, examining ethical and legal issues within media production.
This is a hands-on creative course that invites you to explore software and tools in the media communication industry. This includes exploring the mediums of video, audio and multimedia.
You will develop understanding of the skills and procedures used by filmmakers, videographers, sound technicians, web developers and multimedia artists.
Through this course, you will will create an online portfolio that demonstrates the skills you've learned and can be used to apply for post-secondary programs or jobs in the industry.
The course has been designed to be flexible for you to use a variety of tools. Once registered, you can work with your teacher to discuss if there are other tools you’d like to use beyond what is provided.
