Sask DLC offers core and elective high school course options designed to fit you or your family's lifestyle.
Whether balancing school with sports, taking breaks when needed or structuring coursework to match your learning style, you have the freedom to learn in a way that works best for you.
Enjoy the flexibility of learning from home with a high-quality, fully funded online education. Taught by certified Saskatchewan teachers, our courses follow Ministry of Education curricular outcomes where all earned course credits count toward your graduation requirements.
You can choose to be a full-time Sask DLC student and take all your high school courses online with us or take some high school courses online through Sask DLC as a complement to your in-school experience.
Whatever works best for you - Sask DLC can provide you with a path towards graduation.
We understand that every student learns differently, which is why we offer a variety of learning models for families to choose from:
• Synchronous Live Class: Your child will attend scheduled live class sessions with their teacher throughout the day.
• Guided Learning: Your child will attend a once-a-week live session, where the teacher offers live instruction and prepares students for the week of work ahead.
Guided learning combines elements of the asynchronous and synchronous live class learning models, providing the structure to support student success through regular and consistent contact between students and teachers.
• Asynchronous (flexible learning): You and your child can choose the daily learning schedule that works for you, while following a suggested course timeline.
Sask DLC teachers are available to provide support, feedback and offer live opportunities to connect with the student.
Our teachers provide one-on-one support, live instruction, and an individualized learning experience. Whether choosing Synchronous Live Classes, Guided Learning or Asynchronous learning, students will benefit from a safe, structured and flexible online experience in a supportive environment.
Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses to Saskatchewan students who choose to study online. We empower students and families to choose the learning environment that works best for them, while supporting their graduation plan.
