English as an Additional Language A10L

This course supports high school students who are beginning to develop their English language proficiency. This course focuses on foundational skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing to support success in school and everyday communication. You will develop your basic English skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing. You will participate in class and gain confidence in using English in common areas of communication such as school, community, self and family.

This course is intended for students with CFR A1.1 descriptors and may also support students with limited or interrupted formal schooling.

**Note: English as an Additional Language (EAL) A10L is available for the 2026-27 school year.
