Through a collection of lessons and candid conversations with world-class NHL and Olympic Players, along with NHL executives and scouts, this course provides life-changing knowledge for high school students that are passionate about pursuing their dreams – on and off the ice. Created in partnership with Becoming Player X, this course also provides valuable training and certification for young athlete leaders including Respect In Sport. Note: Students may take either Leadership 30L or Leadership30L - Excellence in Hockey to earn this credit, but not both.

Students will examine leadership skills through a hockey lens. One of the cornerstones of the course in the Mentor Lessons which are a series of curated videos from the House of Leaders in Alberta. These videos all examine various aspects of what it means to succeed at the highest levels of hockey.
Note: Students may take either Leadership 30L or Leadership30L - Excellence in Hockey to earn this credit, but not both.
