About the Program

This non-credit program is offered in three levels, which contain 12 easy-to-complete challenges. These challenges are activities that range from: outlining the steps in apprenticeship to interviewing a tradesperson to attending a career fair, many of which can be completed during a practical and applied arts course (i.e Food Studies, Construction & Carpentry, Welding, etc.) during your high school education.

Benefits

The SATCC is offering a number of possible benefits after completing this program in high school.

· Waiver of SATCC registration fee

· Waiver of tuition for Level 1 technical training

· Up to 300 hours of trade-time credit

· Plus: the possibility of being nominated at the school level to be entered for a $1,000 scholarship

This is equivalent to approximately $2,000 in benefits, plus an opportunity for $1,000 more with the scholarship!
