In this course, students will explore the origins of the First Nations, New France, the Seven Years War, Confederation and the patriation of the Constitution.

Students will explore the people and events that have had a hand in shaping Canada as we know it today. Students will gain a better understanding and full appreciation of our country’s rich history.

Students have the option to enroll in the History 30 live broadcast synchronous course OR the History 30 online asynchronous course.

  • Live broadcast synchronous: students attend a live broadcast at a specific time, every week. If you're interested in enrolling in the History 30 synchronous course, please review the live broadcast details and schedule.

  • Online asynchronous: students can take History 30 anywhere, anytime.
