Synchronous live classes are delivered online, in real-time. A registered Saskatchewan teacher instructs students through an online platform. Classes are booked at set times and the teacher leads the online interactive class through lessons, assignments and feedback.Students can also book meetings with teachers outside of the scheduled class time for additional support.
Just like in a face-to-face class, students are required to attend the live class and if they anticipate missing it, the student needs to make arrangements with the teacher, prior to class. Below are the synchronous live class timetables for 2025-2026 and 2024-2025.

"Live classes are the closest thing to an in-person experience in an online setting. Meeting with my teacher daily allowed me to ask plenty of questions and establish a consistent routine, which greatly improved my understanding of the material.... having access to courses not offered at my school is a huge benefit, and I highly recommend live Sask DLC courses to anyone interested in their subject offerings."
Registration for Semester 2 synchronous live classes is closed. Registration for asynchronous, learn at your own pace courses remains open.
